Digital calligraphy, also known as spot calligraphy, is great for weddings and events where there will be several printed pieces. You get the look of hand-scripted lettering that matches across multiple pieces to create a cohesive and sophisticated suite. It will also match calligraphy done by hand such as envelopes and place cards.

I’ll hand-script your choice of names, initial logo, event date, and other relevant words such as RSVP, Details, Directions and Save the Date. Then I’ll digitize them using design software. You’ll receive digital artwork files that can be used by your invitation designer and printed professionally.

All projects include one layout sketch and one round of design revisions. For certain projects a digital layout sketch or similar samples will be provided.


Names: $150  
Two peoples’ first names hand-scripted and digitized. Alternately, the first and last name of one person.

Custom Initial Logo: $250+
A unique logo design created from combination of your first initials or your first initials and married last initial. Extra flourishes and/or simple botanical line drawings can be integrated. Hand-scripted and digitized. Pricing depends on desired level of complexity.

First + Last Names: $200+

Add on - Date and 5 Key Invitation Words: $200
Commonly used words are listed above, or any other words of your choice. Hand-scripted and digitized.

Welcome Sign: $50+
17” x 11” or larger. May include the word Welcome, two names, and a date. Alternate text and elements are also an option. Hand-scripted and digitized.

Add on - Menu: $250  
Digital file of your menu. In addition to your names or custom initial logo, this includes menu headings such as Appetizers and Dessert hand-scripted and digitized. Additional text will be typeset as a font, to create a print-ready digital artwork file.

Add-on - Program Book: Price Varies 
Digital file of your program book. Hand-scripted words could include section headings, song or quotation titles, etc. Additional text will be typeset as a font, to create a print-ready digital artwork file. Pricing depends on complexity.
